Job Title: PHP  Developer

Location: Studio City, CA. .

Duration: Full Time Permanent

Job Description:

Seeking an experienced PHP developer for a full-time position.  Responsibilities include performing daily development tasks in a LAMP environment; building object-oriented code structure; abstracting new projects and refactoring existing code into an MVC architecture.

They must be capable of working collaboratively to determine technically superior solutions that meet business objectives. They should be highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and release dates. They should be capable of both oral and written communication that is applicable to both technical and non-technical staff. 

Technical Requirements:

OO PHP 5+

MySQL (Custom querying, simple joins, basic table structuring)

JSON data management; integration of PHP/AJAX

Basic HTML layout (presentation layer manipulation)

SVN/Git

Nix (ssh, bash, VIM, cron)

Apache (basic config management, mod_rewrite)

Wordpress or other CMS Development

Additional Qualifications:

MVC development

Wordpress plugin development

Wordpress custom post type development

Nix system administration

Apache development (content headers, file streaming)

Memcache development

MySQL query optimization / indexing

Sponsorship program development / implementation (ad systems, branded content/templates)

JIRA or other project management/ticket systems

Clean, legible, maintainable syntax is important

Meaningful and organized documentation and commenting
