Location: Wilmington, DE / Needham, MA

Duration: 6-12 Months

 

Job Description:

·         The Technician is responsible for implementing the standards and procedures set forth the BlackRock Data Center Procedures Manual and the Data Center Access Control Policies They must be fluent in the standards and practices of the Data Center industry they are responsible for handling work requests performing change management and documenting their work

·         Some of the specific Tasks of this Job are listed below Racking cabling and labeling of new and relocated equipment Acting as remote onsite technical support for Unix Windows and Network Teams Entering and completing Change Management tickets and Data Center Work Request tickets Performing tape rotations and custody transfers Implementing Data Destruction procedures Performing inventory management Creating and maintaining as built drawings and elevations Clean up and coordination of cleaning services Daily logging of environmental and electrical data Be on call for off hours emergency work Oversight of contractors performing work within the data center  Electrical Mechanical Etc
