Win 7 – QA UAT Coordinator (1 position) and Win 7 - QA Engineer (2 positions)

Required Skills and Experience:

  -       At least 8-10 years' experience in quality assurance.

-       5+ years of experience in functional and System Integration testing.

-       5+ years of experience working with Users and supporting UAT testing.

-       5+ years of experience in translating requirement into detailed test plans and test cases.

-       3-4 Years of experience in Desktop management / Desktop Migration projects

-       Ability to utilize standardized testing methods, tools and procedures are used to ensure testing is   efficient, effective and comprehensive.

-       Ability to work on multiple projects with aggressive deadlines.

-       Excellent client facing and communication skills.

-       Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and outstanding attention to detail.

-       Working knowledge on Microsoft Excel, MS SharePoint and Microsoft TFS is highly desired.

-       Application compatibility Testing and Remediation

-       Certification(s) in testing is a PLUS

-       Good knowledge of VB Scripting

-       Experience with SCCM tools  

Duties and Responsibilities:

-       Review project documents and artefacts, and translate them into test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.

-       Perform requirement review and ambiguity review and build Requirement Traceability Matrix.

-       Design, develop and execute test scenarios and test cases, manage issues and provide recommendations on workarounds and solutions.

-       Manage issues, assesses defect severity, recommend on work-around and manage triage calls.

-       Coordinate with Software Development and Project team to help resolve issues as needed. 

-       Confirm/Verify fixed defects in software builds of the products as assigned by the Development team.

-       Maintain and enhance test scenarios and test cases to reflect scope changes and inform Sr. Engineer/Lead on progress and results.

-       Provide Weekly Status for projects and ensure that QA Engineers adheres to defined QA process and templates

-       Familiarity in using VMWare and Ghost Images

-       Proficient in VB scripts and able to create custom actions

-       Usage of Virtual OS - Vmware/MS Virtual OS
