Backfill Position

Mainframe Developer

Location: Georgetown, KY

Duration: Long-term

Rate: $45/Hr

Looking for a Mainframe programmer that can have high autonomy, can thoroughly research systems issues and provide short term and long term countermeasures. Excellent problem solving skills are required to identify the root cause of system abends and prepare problem reports. Should be capable of supporting multiple mainframe applications, manage their daily tasks, and effectively communicate status and issues.

Work Experience Requirements:

• IBM Mainframe (IBM S/390), IMS. Endeavor source management – 8+ yrs experience
• JCL – 8+ yrs experience
• PL/I
• DB2, IMSDB
• Java knowledge
• C# knowledge
• May include development of long term countermeasures to resolve system abends or performance issues.
• Strong documentation skills (Will need to develop system flows and manuals for systems.
