Amzur Technologies, a Tampa, FL-based, custom software development and IT staffing firm, seeks two (2) seasoned SQL Server DBAs for contract positions based in Philadelphia, PA. These positions are scheduled to start the first or second week of May and run through the end of 2013.

Description and Requirements:

1. Build and Install all components of MSSQL, MSSQL Replication and MSSQL Clustering to support Clients mission critical applications to include monitoring, automation shell scripting, performance metrics and environment stability and support for New Business projects.

a. MSSQL Server implementations through Development, UAT, Configuration, Training, SIT and Production environments

b. Document and analyze all MSSQL Implementations

c. Conduct Performance and Tuning of MSSQL Servers, Replication and Log Shipping and assist in the creation of automated scripts for all MSSQL Instances

d. Performance and Tuning of all MSSQL scripts to optimize performance to support the Solution

2. Perform all Log Shipping Proof of Concepts on preferred Operating Systems (Microsoft)

a. Replication Set Up

b. Transaction performance analysis

c. Documentation of Analysis, Installs, Testing, Configuration, Visio layout of environments

d. Job Knowledge transfer to the Client MSSQL Database Engineers

3. Provide installation documentation and engagement reports based on Client project schedule

4. Provide weekend installation support with Client MSSQL Engineers implementation to production based

5. Maintain a weekly status report on all activities and tasked assigned by Client Department Management Staff

6. Provide After Hours Support when needed 24x7 Project availability support
