Position : ORACLE DBA
Location : Albany NY
Duration : 2 yrs
EXPERIENCE IN CORBA , UML, AIX/UNIX is MUST
84+ months experience as Oracle DBA in AIX/Unix environment
60+ months of working knowledge of database and data warehouse design including knowledge of data normalization theory and knowledge of star schema design, as well as object-oriented modeling with Unified Modeling Language (UML) and knowledge of other database design methodologies such as CORBA and J2EE.
60+ months of experience with implementations, upgrades, conversions and consolidation projects with Oracle databases
36+ months experience in Oracle database, character set conversion and migration on different platforms
36+ months experience with database compliance, security, and auditing including Oracle Advanced Security.
36+ experience in database performance monitoring and tuning, capacity planning, database backup and recovery, SQL statement tuning;
36+ months experience with SQL and PL/SQL scripting
36+ months experience in shell scripting environments (C, Korn, Bourne, Bash)
24+ months experience in writing technical documentation.
