Location : Deerfield, IL
Contract : 6 month C2H (or long term contract if they are h1b)

Position : SQL Server DBA
Location : Deerfield, IL
Contract : 6 month C2H (or long term contract if they are h1b)
Rate : 50/hr on C2C Max
Must Have :
7-10 years of SQL Server, Oracle, Progress, MySQL or DBA
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
Minimum 6 years of database administration experience, 8 years preferred
experience with SQL Server clustering and running SQL in a VM
UNIX, Windows and/or mainframe operating systems experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Database SQL Clustering Experience
Experience with SQL migrations from 2005-2008 (2008-2010 preferred)

Role:
The Senior Database Administrator designs and maintains the enterprise level databases and provides strategic direction for database architecture. Works with development and infrastructure teams to manage and implement enhancements and upgrades, and tunes the databases for optimal performance. This person will also be assisting developers with the tuning of code to ensure successful implementations
