Job Description:Job Title: Mobile Developer
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Contract: 3+ month contract
 
DESCRIPTION
As a security software developer, you will focus on design and implementation of McAfee security capabilities on Windows mobile devices. This will include initial design of

core security features, security review, implementation and debugging. It will primarily focus on Windows mobile devices but may also include other operating systems.

Work may include operating system internals and firmware but is primarily focused on application, user interface and network services. Broad understanding of mobile

industry trends and technology areas is desired.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
1. Minimum 6-8 years of experience.
2. Proficient in programming in C++ and/or C#.
3. Sound understanding of object-oriented design principles.
4. Good understanding of Windows 8 Phone platform, API and architecture.
5. Good understanding of the .NET platform.
6. Familiarity with Windows Internals.
7. Strong background in full lifecycle of mobile app projects - architecture, development, testing, deployment and configuration of Android mobile apps.
8. Experience in using source code version control like Sub Version
9. Software development practices such as unit-testing, static analysis etc.

EXPERIENCE DESIRED
1. Experience working with hybrid applications e.g. HTML5/JavaScript application interacting with the Windows system.
2. Ability to write native C++ code in Win32 platform.
3. Experience with Mobile Security products.
4. Experience in modern software engineering processes like agile, test-driven development

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION
Candidate should have Under-Graduate or Graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
