Linux Engineer
Virginia (Traveling)
5 Months Contract
Rate : $45/Hr on C2C or 1099 is the max.
Must be Green Card or Citizens

Must be Green Card or Citizens
This is for HP and is a traveling position for 5 months, must be gc or citizen - would need them to start Saturday in VA.
It is a redhat linux engineer, but anyone that has about 3-5 years of experience as a linux engineer or engineer with linux and redhat would be best!
Must haves:
Hands on Experience using RedHat as an Engineer
Have to ability to install, configure and troubleshoot enterprise systems
Basic Networking background (understanding of routers, switches, WAN, LAN, troubleshooting)
Experience Scripting within Linux
Ability and Willingness to travel
Knowledge of general Linux administration functions
General troubleshooting skills.
Hands on Experience using RedHat as an Engineer

Role:
This candidate will be traveling to 4 different data center Locations. The schedule is below. These candidates will be responsible for the build out of the network infrastructure required for the testing and deployment of each POD (Performance Optimized Data Center).
This candidate will be traveling to 4 different data center Locations. The schedule is below. These candidates will be responsible for the build out of the network infrastructure required for the testing and deployment of each POD (Performance Optimized Data Center).
The tasks completed will include:
1. Temporary cabling and deployment of network switches to rack within each POD.
2. Base configuration of networking equipment and modifications throughout the process.
3. Memory stick network based Linux OS loads on servers. Including PXE boot.
4. Operations of specific laptop based test tools to control the POD training provided.
