Job Title: Java Architect
Location: Clemson, SC
Duration: 12 months
Responsibilities:
The Software Engineer is responsible for assessing, designing, developing and implementing the States Member Management replacement project and any other projects assigned. The consultant will as part of a small development team under the direction of Clemson's technical project manager for new technology development.
Application Servers: JBoss,WebSphere, Bea WebLogic, Apache Tomcat
Frameworks: Struts, Spring MVC, Spring, Hibernate
BPM: BizAgi and familiarity with BPM concepts
Rules Engine: ILOG, Corticon, OPA or some major vendor product experience
ESB: Familiarity with WebSphere or open source products
Java: J2EE, Java Server Pages, Servlets, Tag libs, Enterprise Java Beans (EJB), JDBC, JNDI, JMS, JTA, JAXB. Web Services Toolkits (Axis, GLUE).
Protocols/Standards: HTTP, XML, DTD, XML Schema, WSDL, SOAP, RSS.
Certifications: Sun Certified Web Component Developer, Sun Certified Business Component Developer for Java 2 Enterprise Edition 1.3. Sun Certified Java Programmer for Java 2 Platform 1.4
Database: Microsoft SQL/Oracle, Schema Design, ER Diagrams, Normalization, SQL Optimization, Data Migration.
Languages: Java, JSTL, EL, JavaScript, SQL, JQUERY
Platforms: UNIX/Linux, Windows XP, Oracle.
Tools: Subversion, maven, cvs, ant, JUnit, MagicDraw.
Architecture: UML, MVC, Presentation, Business and Integration Tier Design Patterns. O/R Persistence Frameworks.
Integrated Development Environments: Eclipse
SDLC: Requirements Analysis. Iterative Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Lean.
