Bachelor's degree

Good analytical skills, interpersonal skills and Communication skills.

3+  years of experience

 

Required Skills:

Having knowledge of Java/J2EE technologies.

Have worked on Unix and shell scripting.

Having knowledge of oracle technologies Oracle 10g and PL/SQL

Having some experience of testing (like test strategy, plan, scenarios, test cases)

Some experience of application deployment using deployment scripts.

Understanding of any version management tool like SVN, VSS etc.

Having good communication skills required for customer interaction.

 

Roles and responsibilities:

 

Execution of performance test steps as per the step by step Performance test plan.

Execution of the scripts as part of the predefined test execution steps.

Testing of the application as per the test steps.

Documentation of the results of the test steps performed.

Perform updates to the file properties in Unix as per the test steps.

Deployment of the new application tag.

Configuration and execution of the performance testing tool as per the predefined execution test steps.

Updating the test journal as per the test steps.

Results collection and copying them to the respective folders as per the test steps.

Maintenance of test cases required for automated performance testing.
