Urgent Client Need

Performance Tester
Work location: Bellevue, WA
Duration: 6months+

No of positions:1

. Experience in functional, performance/load and security testing of Web Services (SOAP, XML/HTTP, REST/HTTP) APIs and platform
. Experience in using testing tools such as SOAPUI and Webinject for functional testing and Jmeter and Pylot for Performance testing or similar tools
. Experience in automation frameworks, Experience in creating data driven test automation scripts
. Good understanding of Web Services especially REST
. Thorough understanding of testing concepts and methodology including test strategy, test planning, test design, test governance, defect management, STLC, Bug Lifecycle etc.
. Ability to prepare test plans and write test cases
. Experience in collecting performance data, analyzing the data, and preparing reports and providing recommendations for performance improvement
. Ability to analyze data gathered from performance tests for measuring application performance, availability and capacity for ensuring optimal user experience and reducing hardware cost
. Ability to troubleshoot issues in load and performance test environment
. Good communication skills and ability to participate and contribute to daily meetings with Customer
. Good Coordination and Task Management skills
. Willingness to work in a flexible schedule in order to gather data from long running tests and prepare reports for submission to Customer
. Knowledge of Content Storage domain will be added advantage
