Location: Richmond, VA

Terms: 12 month contract

Openings: 4 (3 with no BPT, One with BPT)

Status: Must be GC or USC

Interviews: 1 Phone and 1 F2F (most likely on site)

This is a high level position and will require both manual and automated testing. These candidates must be able to write scripts, as it may be required in the interview. Quality Center, QTP, and Java testing are must haves! Any experience with Selenium Web Driver is a big plus! One position also requires any kind of experience working with HP's Business Process Testing Tool (an add on within QTP). Candidates must be a GC holder or US Citizen and possibly be willing to travel on site for a face to face interview. Please let me know if you have any one available!

Education/Requirements/Technical Competencies

·         4+ years' experience with software testing or 4 year college degree (preferably computer software related) (required)

·         2+ years' experience with manual software testing (required)

·         2+ years of automated software testing(required)

·         Knowledge and experience using various automated testing tools that include but are not limited to: Quality Center (required) Quick Test Pro (required), Selenium Web Driver (strongly preferred)

·         Experience with Java programming (strongly preferred)

·         Experience with database tools like SQL Developer or TOAD (required)

·         Experience with relational databases and writing SQL queries (required)

·         Experience developing and executing test cases (required)

·         Knowledge and experience with SDLC (strongly preferred)

·         Experience with testing batch processes (required)

·         Must demonstrate knowledge of fundamental testing principles, concepts and techniques and have experience recording defects in defect tracking software (required)

·         Working knowledge of current environments and platforms (preferred)

·         Experience evaluating and recommending testing tools and techniques.  Perform the administration of testing tools (required)

·         May require occasional extended hours for testing new systems, problem resolution, and completion of priority projects (required)
