Job Description:
This candidate will be handling all aspects of Teradata issues including performance tuning SQL queries. They will be doing performance monitoring, and monitoring the SQL and Teradata systems, and troubleshooting queries. This person must be a very strong communicator and very strong technically.
This candidate will be handling all aspects of Teradata issues including performance tuning SQL queries. They will be doing performance monitoring, and monitoring the SQL and Teradata systems, and troubleshooting queries. This person must be a very strong communicator and very strong technically.
Job Requirements:
7+ years of experience in a Teradata DBA role
Expert level SQL development skills
Hands on experience turning SQL queries

Optional Requirements:
Data Warehouse experience is strongly preferred
Healthcare experience
Teradata v13 DBA experience
SQL Server DBA 2008 R2 experience
Dimensional/Star Schema design, implementation and optimization
Database Partitioning design, implementation and optimization
Understands ETL framework design, implementation and management
