Title: Global HR Business Analyst

Duration: 6+ months

Location: Jersey City, NJ

 

Job Description:

 

Global HR Business Analyst who will be fully embedded within the project life cycle liaising directly with the business, the developers, and the QA department.

This role sits within the project team to implement a Global HR System, The new system will be rolled out across offices in all regions (EMEA, Americas and Asia Pacific), delivering HR information and services to approx 5000 people. The successful candidate will be expected to be fully embedded within the full project life cycle liaising directly with the business, the developers, and the QA department.

Day in the Life:

 

Responsible for understanding and documenting the "As Is" of the existing HR processes for US and Latam countries that ICAP has employees located in;

Mapping future state processes in line with Workday functionality and ensuring that these are aligned globally (taking into account any local/ in-country legislative requirements);

Assisting the functional architect with the design of the future state

Design of the user test pack

Responsible for the production of the Business Requirements/Functional specification documents for the target\feeder systems;

Ensuring the Lead BA is kept updated on the status of the activity, delivery to plan and associated risks/ issues.

 

Competencies:

Ability to work on multiple project streams whilst managing multiple deadlines and differing priorities

Proven experience in business analysis, problem solving, documentation and working to tight deadlines

Ability to self start, identify tasks required independently to fulfil project deliverables and work as a team member

Understanding the full project life cycle from requirements capture through to implementation and delivery

Ability to produce quality documents in a clear, accurate and compelling manner with a strong attention to detail

Excellent communication skills at all levels (both written and oral) and strong presentation skills

Ability to provide detailed and meaningful interpretation of factual information in a concise manner

Ability to use own initiative, with strong personal organisation skills to work to tight deadlines

Ability to develop new skills and understand new technology as required

Service oriented, adaptable and resilient

Results oriented and holds self personally accountable

 

Professional / Technical Skills:

Prior experience of working on a Global HR system implementation

Educated to degree level (Business, IT or Mathematics), or equivalent experience

At least 2 years experience of working as a Business Analyst in a financial organisation on business led IT/Technology/change projects

Strong track record of delivering business change and IT programmes

 

Desirable:

Some formal business analysis qualification/course attendance desirable

Some formal financial markets training course or qualification
