Job Title: Mainframe Developer
Location: Jacksonville,FL
Duration: 12+ months
Note:Need only Citizen and GC candidate( NO H1B)
Note: 42hr on C2C
Job Description:
Coordinate with areas for integration architecture solutions and determine the integration approach
Responsible for the detail design documentation, development, unit testing and maintenance of internally developed applications and externally purchased software products.
Write code for systems designs that span platforms.
Write code for enhancing existing programs or developing new programs.
Write detailed technical specifications for subsystems and identify integration points.
Estimate project timelines and resources required to complete programming projects.
Perform unit testing and debugging and set test conditions based on code specifications.
Supports application throughout the Product Development life cycle.
Job Requirements –
Extensive experience in COBOL, DB2, CICS, IMS DB/DC, SAS, JCL, VSAM, Endevor, TSO/ISPF, SQL, z/OS, IBM data studio, IMB PD tools (FM, DT, FA, APA), RDz, MQ Series, XML, Control-M, Visio.
Working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle process and Requisite Pro.
Experience in Healthcare and UCM (Rational Clear Case) is a plus
Analyze and develop technical strategies using technologies like MQ Series, DB2 SQLs, Stored Procedures, XML Parsing techniques to modularize design into granular functionality levels to
achieve optimum efficiency and ease in maintenance.
Write detail technical design documents for new development and enhancements to existing functionality, document process flows.
Write new code, integrate code with existing applications; perform code-reviews, prepare and execute test plans and test cases.
Perform unit testing and debugging, integration testing, system testing, and implementing the code into production.
