SCOPE OF SERVICES

MANDATORY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered.

o          At least 10 years of experience as a QA/Test team member;

o          Programming experience and ability to program in Object Oriented or Procedural Languages is a must.

o          Strong knowledge and ability to create complex SQL queries and work with SQL editors

o          Fundamentals of MQ

o          Ability to work with and validate Data Dictionaries

o          Strong knowledge about XML file structure, XML schema, and XML file data validation.

o          Experience in performance test of back end systems

o          Must be able to understand requirements and translate them into test cases

o          Ability to create quality assurance plans based on the analysis of design documents and requirements, Create and execute test cases, log and assign defects and keep track of the defect status

o          Hands-on experience using tools like XML Spy, Perfmon, and Test Director/Quality Center.

o          Understanding of a variety of programming languages, architectures, and standards (e.g., J2EE-Java, n-tier architecture, service oriented architecture)

o          Must be able to see tasks through to completion with minimal guidance

o          Ability to work independently in time sensitive environment and be fully responsible for work results

o          Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders; must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources;

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE :

o          A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or Mathematics is desired;

o          Experienced with formal SDLCs and business analysis methodologies; Working knowledge of business analysis documentation standards;

o          Prior government project experience (NYC strongly preferred).

o          Familiarity with the data integration and exchange concepts

o          Familiarity with NIEM mapping and schema development

o          Prior software development experience in Java or .Net
