Position: NetBackup Administrator

Duration: 3 + months

Location : Fort Worth, TX

 

JD:  

At least 7 years of experience as Veritas Netbackup administrator 

Current hands-on experience of Netbackup working in production support environment l

Responsible for day to backup of servers/VM and  databases

Responsible for incidents and changes on Netbackup trouble shooting of failed jobs , configuring backup of new VM hosts

 

Positio: NetBackup Administrator (Linux Admin)

Duration: 3 months

Location : Fort Worth, TX

 

JD

At least 5 years of hands on experience working on Red Hat Linux systems  - RHEL 6.0 version 

Installations, configurations, patching, access management, user management  of Linux servers

Good knowledge of Logical Volume Manager

Day to day production support  for Linux servers running application and database

At least 1 to 2 years of experience of VMWare ( vCentre, vSphere, EXS servers) administration

Migration of VM from servers – V2V and P2V migrations ;

Cloning , adding mac address, assigning a new hard disk to VM

RHCE and VCP certified 

 

For Linux Admin position, the candidate should have additionally cleared one of the following certifications ( which are hands-on certifications)

Red Hat Certificate of Expertise in Deployment and Systems Management

Red Hat Certificate of Expertise in Directory Services and Authentication or Red Hat Certified Virtualization Administrator

Red Hat Certificate of Expertise in Clustering and Storage Management

Red Hat Certificate of Expertise in Security: Network Services or Red Hat Certificate of Expertise in Server Hardening

Red Hat Certificate of Expertise in Performance Tuning
