Job Description:Position: Cloud Administrator
Duration: 12-24 Months
Location: San Jose, CA
 
OpenStack Cloud Administrator

Requirements:
• Excellent understanding of datacenter management approaches, techniques and challenges
• Deep understanding of Continuous Delivery paradigm and DevOps
• Good understanding of cloud computing domain, especially IaaS and PaaS space
• Solid knowledge of Linux system and networking administration
• Working experience with deployment, configuration and operations in any or all of OpenStack, Cloudstack.
• Deep understanding of Linux networking stack and tools
• Working knowledge of configuration management frameworks (Puppet, Chef), orchestration frameworks and bare-metal provisioning tools
• Good understanding of virtualization technologies, different types of virtualization and its applicability to real-world workloads
• Good hands-on experience on scripting using JS, PHP, Python, Ruby on Rails for automating the management, configuration, provisioning, monitoring & metering of cloud stack specifically OpenStack.

Pluses:
• Awareness of SDN trends and solutions
• Understanding of DR strategies and solutions
• Knowledge of Linux HA stack
• Experience with design for large-scale datacenter operations
• Experience working with AWS, Rackspace solutions
• Experience with migration of applications to the IaaS cloud
