The SAP BASIS Administrator provides system administration and planning for SAP systems on DB2 LUW. As a member of the SAP Team, the Basis Administrator is responsible for the SAP technical landscape planning and management using best-in-class strategies accomplish goals. Require a very strong communication and analytical skills and will work closely with business and IT leaders. This person must have the ability to understand the complex environment and prior banking experience will be a plus.

Responsibilities/ Skills: 

·         Require to do installation and day-to-day management of SAP ABAP, Java, PI, Netweaver BPC, and BOBJ applications. Will provide SAP insights needed for basis planning, installation, administration, and tuning tasks.  Activity includes daily/weekly/quarterly maintenance tasks as well as supporting new installations, patching, upgrades, health checks, system copies, and Incident/Problem/Change management.

·         4- 7 years SAP Netweaver application server administration in UNIX- environment.

·         1 - 3 years of SAP on DB2 LUW planning, installation, troubleshooting, and performance tuning experience.

·         1 - 3 years of SAP Solution Manager planning, configuration, and administration to support centralized monitoring, alerting, root cause and analysis, and HP ALM integration.

·         Setup and management SAP transport landscape including use of CHARM.

·         Meet with solutions architects, core team, select members of the IT team, developers, and project office personnel to ensure the necessary infrastructure in place to support implementation of our SAP solutions.

·         SAP on HANA planning, installation, troubleshooting, and performance tuning experience a plus.
