Job Title: Web Project Lead

Work Location: Palo Alto, CA

Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:

• You have experience in leading a team to develop and launch a successful mobile app and web service

• You are on top of the latest frameworks, libraries, standards and best practices

• You know how to listen to a story, talk through the interactions, turn it into a working application, then present and revise

• You hack in your spare time and have side projects to show off

Responsibilities:

• Build a high performing front end engineering team responsible for driving major technical decisions that will impact a billion or so customers

• Lead engineering teams made up of incredible talent ranging from junior to principal level experience

• Stay hands on with the code and work with cutting edge open source technologies

• Interface with Engineering executives, leadership and cross functional stakeholders

• Ability to mentor engineering staff and help build upon our momentum of a world class team

• Last but not least, have fun while delivering best in class applications that will impact our customers on a global scale

Skills Required:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or technical related education

• 5+ years of relevant work experience, including hands-on technical management

• Experience leading teams of Sr. Engineers, UI, and UX

• Ability to work across product lines and deliver on goals and milestones

• Experience with Javascript, HTML, CSS, and API integration

• Experience with BackboneJS, RequireJS, and AngularJS

• Demonstrated ability of building a service from ground up to scale

• Strong written and oral communication skills, ability to multi-task, establish priorities and meet tight deadlines

Primary Skills:

Expert in Javascript, XHTML, HTML 5, CSS 3.0, JQuery, NodeJS, RequireJS, AnguralJS

Secondary Skills:

Web service development, API integration.
