Biodiversity for a Livable Climate (https://bio4climate.org) had been working on this for about a decade, publishing information, and producing conferences on various aspects of how biodiversity affects climate and vice versa (https://bio4climate.org/conferences/). I am now convinced that we can repair much of the damage we've caused through the amplification of existing ecosystems, geotherapy, rather than geoengineering.
