Title               : Sr. Informatica Developer

Location        : Madison, WI

Duration       : 3 Months Contract

 

 

Experience

Typically ten or more years of experience in systems development and programming

Familiarity with Informatica and Oracle SQL Performance tuning

Experience as a team member on project teams in a cross-functional environment

Senior level experience in design and implementation of data warehouse required

Experienced in advanced database principles and database and ETL tuning

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline

 

 

Responsibilities

Analyze Informatica and Oracle SQL performance issues, design and recommend solutions, code, test and implement improved Informatica programs according to established IT standards

Lead the support and troubleshooting of production systems as required, optimizing performance, resolving production problems and providing timely follow-up on problem reports

Monitor test results and take required corrective action

 

 

Required skills:

Knowledge of Informatica

Strong knowledge and understanding of Informatica performance tuning techniques

Strong knowledge of Oracle database management and file access methods is desirable

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong team-oriented interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs

Knowledge of any of the following is a plus: Unix
