Qualifications
· Requires 4+ years experience developing and/or leading performance issues on projects, such as:
o System performance monitoring, tuning and reporting
o Software tool performance monitoring, tuning and reporting
o Preparation of software tuning recommendations
· Two or more of the following technical skills
o Performance Center Load Runner 9 – Vugen, LR Analysis
o Shell, Perl scripting
o AIX 5.2 and above
o Solaris 10
o C/C++
o Java
o Websphere 6.1 (Application Server and Portal)
o SOA and web services on zLinux platform
o Oracle db performance analysis
· Proficient with Monitoring tools
o Vmstat, Netstat, Iostat, NMON, ESAR
o Sitescope
o Websphere - Tivoli ITCAM, Foglight GC analysis tools
· Bachelor's degree
· Personable and diplomatic team player, with the ability to work well in a team environment
· Experience in a technical role on at least 2 full lifecycle medium-sized projects lasting more than 6 months
· Ability to define and distill detailed functional and non-functional technical requirements
· Detailed knowledge of prototyping, performance testing and benchmarking of third party product integration
