Job Description:

Troubleshoot and provide technical solutions to environment related issues encountered by new and existing applications in the environment. ? Actively monitor the IIS hosting environment and SQL databases to increase efficiency, improve reliability, and minimize operating expenses. ? Responsible for coordinating projects as a technical lead, providing design and implementation standards to team members. ? Provide technical leadership to outsourced global development team thru project leadership and technical documentation and outage management. ? Establish and maintain operational metrics that align to customer experience. ? Drive efficiencies through automation and operational excellence. ? Demonstrate a strong sense of internal customer satisfaction as a top priority. ? Provide on-going communication of status of projects and implementation. ? Create a positive, supportive, and team-focused working environment. ? Play a proactive role in developing and applying ?Best in Class? approaches/practices to our operational readiness. ? Partner with the Solution Architecture / Delivery team to establish sound handoffs and detailed documentation standards before new builds are accepted into the production environment. ? Troubleshoot and provide technical solutions to database issues encountered by new and existing applications in the environment. ? Collaborate with other infrastructure teams to establish platform standards and best practices. ? Provide input towards the direction of future technology for web environments and .NET technologies

Position Title:Websphere/Key Words :MQ 6.0, 7.0, WMB 6.0, 7.1, UNIX, AIX, QPASA, APPWATCH
Notes :Requirements/Skillsets: Senior Internet Engineer US Citizens, Background Checks Will Be Performed,5-10 years in IT with 3+ years in WebSphere MQ & WMB technologies. Provides 24/7 technical support. Engineering/Design/Implementation including: Requirements gathering in the areas of performance, scalability and availability. Requirements gathering and documentation of application characteristics, including means of implementation, backend resources, third-party software requirements, etc. Design of web hardware infrastructure. Authorship of design documents, topologies, and guiding these through the design approval process. Specification of implementation instructions, monitoring requirements, network hardware requirements, application-modification instructions. Authorship of runbooks, restoration of service guides. Technical support for web application developers. Providing leadership in the areas of standardization and best practices, as well as application trouble shooting activities. Monitoring, tuning and performance testing activities for live and in-flight applications. Hands-on implementation and trouble-shooting in all pre-production environments. Trouble-shooter of last resort in all production environments
