I have a position available for a Weblogic Security Administrator. This is a long term contract position located in Rochester, NY (Upstate NY, about 8 hours from NYC).
Requirements for WL Security Contractors
Minimum:
Very literate and capable in Java Development, including j2ee; Must have experience interfacing with the Java Subject and building Java Principals for managing identities and their properties.
Strong expertise in web service development, including design, implementation, and manipulation of web service handlers, jaxb, code level xml libraries and interfaces. Versed in SOAP, SOAPHandler, SOAPMessageContext, Generics, java annotations, …
Fluent with the use of a Java Development IDE; a self starter
Capable of readily deciphering legacy code to understand the necessary logic and, where necessary, implement changes
Strong initiative, self learning, creative
Preferred: Minimum requirements +
Good practical knowledge of Weblogic Application Server, particularly its security framework. Capabilities in implementing various Weblogic Provider interfaces, as well as configuring Weblogic to use those implementations
Familiar with the Weblogic deployment tools enough to write deployment objects and tasks for simplified release of implemented web service and security artifacts.
Versed in current industry definition of Federated Security Services, primarily for web services, secondarily for web apps; this includes specifications, standards, and profiles supplied by OASIS, W3C, WS-I, and others
Team player with advanced communication skills; highly interactive; decision making based on an understanding of fundamental principals (including all mentioned above) and sound logic.
