We have an urgent need for a Sr. Business Analyst. Please confirm if you can work on this. 

 

Title: Sr. Business Analyst

Location: Anywhere (ideally SF/Bay Area of course but open to virtual). Will have some travel, likely to Phoenix (not much maybe once/mo - 15%)

Type: Contract - 40 hrs/week for 6+ months, likely long term

Start: Monday, Sept 10

Mandatories: Must have CMS (content management systems/web) experience. Fatwire or Drupal or or SDL or CQ5 ideal

JOB DESCRIPTION 

We are looking for a Sr. Business Analyst to serve as a CMS Expert to gather design requirements and help define project scope and develop design specification.

Candidate will be responsible for managing teams to define, build and roll-out innovative technology and business process solutions that increase efficiencies, improve customer satisfaction, and drive revenue.

-Be a subject-matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures associated with web systems

-Gathering requirements and help write documentation

-Developing design and functional specifications

-Production deliverables for web projects

-Assisting in post-implementation support and system enhancements

-Overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of web sites and other web-based applications designed to meet business goals

-Overseeing complex system projects that support business-to-customer web sites

-Working with teams of internal and external web designers, developers, project managers, and content specialists to define, design, monitor, and improve web applications

-Applying functional knowledge to the design and configuration of systems

-Maintaining strong relationships with web associates, database administrators, system administrators, the marketing team, application developers, and IT to meet objectives

 

REQUIREMENTS

-5+ years experience as Business Analyst (PM skills a plus) in a CMS environment (Fatwire or Drupal or or SDL or CQ5 ideal) and with client facing experience

-Experience writing requirements documentation

-Proven experience in specifying and implementing enterprise content management systems

-An understanding of the components and considerations required when building corporate systems (i.e. key architecture components, security, scalability etc.)

-Demonstrated track record identifying and documenting business requirements, process flows, use cases and test cases for sales portals or content management systems

-Experience working with user-experience professionals in the development of interaction design deliverables (i.e. wireframes, prototyping, visual design)

-Experience with developing, deploying, and maintaining websites and other web-based applications

-Experience with Web and IT environments, including implementation and support of resource planning, support, training, and documentation

-Experience with Web servers and system administration

-Excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills

-Ability to travel around 15% (Phoenix) Likely to be short trips, here and there.
