Job Description:

·         Responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation to migrate 8 central Oracle databases from a physical to virtual environment.

·         Knowledge of Oracle from a DBA point of view required.

·         Must have knowledge of Oracle replication including Advanced Replication and Materialized views.

·         Skills include Oracle 11G, PLSQL, Stored procedures and functions, Advanced Replication and materialized views, PERL, and Windows 2003 64 bit server or higher.

·         Knowledge of Oracle 11G a must. This person will be responsible to develop and test a migration strategy that is to be used by the Oracle production support team.

·         Assisting the Oracle production support team in the migration activities.

·         Responsible for troubleshooting all related issues that may occur during and after the migration.
