QA Analyst,Salem,OR
Interacts with other software development groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, or modifications. Identifies functional problems and suggests resolutions. Assists in the definition of internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs. Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress verbal reports in daily scrum meetings.
Requires an associate's degree in a technical area and at least 1 year or equivalent experience. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field and relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
May include writing a variety of technical reports and manuals for documentation for a wide range of uses. Candidate uses Microsoft Team Foundation Server to manage user requirements, project time estimates and communication with the application development team.
Must haves:
* Experience in testing methodologies, smoke testing, screen UAT, write bug descriptions.
* Be articulate in writing problem descriptions.
Nice to have:
* SSRS - some exposure
* TFS 2010
* Agile Scrum SDLC
