Job Title: Websphere Administrator (Remote)
Location: Remote
Duration: 1 year contract (GC or Citizen)
Job Descreption:
Requires 8+ years of programming/application development and 8+ years IT experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
This position will be primarily responsible for the configuration and administration of our client's Webphere portal platform.
Candidates must be experienced in installation, configuration, tuning, security, monitoring, maintenance, backup/recovery, testing, analysis, tools, standards/procedures in Development and QA
Requires 8+ years of programming/application development and 8+ years IT experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

environments and release to Production. Additional preferred skills include experience with AIX, ANT scripting, LDAP, and clustered portal environments.
At least 5 years experience managing Websphere Application Server 6.1 and above, Websphere Portal 6.1 and above, and Lotus Web Content Management 6.1 and above.
Unix and Weblogic administration experience a plus.
Requires 8+ years of programming/application development and 8+ years IT experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent in education and multiple trade certifications are preferred.
Multiple platform experience required.
At least 5 years experience managing Websphere Application Server 6.1 and above, Websphere Portal 6.1 and above, and Lotus Web Content Management 6.1 and above.
