Job Responsibilities
Will provide guidance to the SCOPE II Phase 1 project team to enable dual development of the application by external vendor and internal resources.
SCOPE II Phase 1 is a Justice Public Safety solution for multiple law enforcement agencies that will provide a person based tracking of criminal history,
warrants, incidents, etc. information to perform background checks to determine probable cause arrests, support bail, sentence, and prosecution assessments, assist in investigations, etc. The number of users of the system will be in the 5,000+ range. The estimated number of developers on the project team is less than 10.
Demonstrates proficiencies in C#, ASP.NET and T-SQL programming
Familiarity with MS SQL Server databases
Demonstrates professional organization, documentation, communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrates superb analytical and problem-solving skills
Evaluates suggested application changes from two independent development teams
Recommends approaches for promoting application reliability and maintainability
Coordinates with development teams to manage the changes to the application
Maintains and communicate accurate status of work performed
Special Skills:
Excellent level experience in C# .NET back-end programming required and excellent level experience in ASP.NET front-end programming required and excellent level experience in T-SQL
Experience in systems analysis, design, programming required
Experience in the design and construction of client/server applications required
Good experience in TFS usage for source control
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Excellent skills in analyzing and understanding code that is already in production and how to modify it and also perhaps improve performance
