Job Title:Automation Tester with HP Tools
Location :Rochester, MN
Job Duration:2 Years(contract)
Pay Range:Negotiable

Job Description:
The Software Application Tester will share joint responsibility with
SQA to own the testing requirements.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
• Adhere to the project schedules
• Thoroughly read and understand the business requirements/functional
specifications for the project (Clarify ambiguous specifications with
project team)
• Develop Test Plans as necessary (Strategy of how to execute the
test cases)
• Develop Test Cases (the test scenarios) and Data Sets
• Execute Test Cases
• Document Test Results
• Log incidents
• Assist the project team in dispositioning the incidents

• Perform follow-up activities such as:
• Edit test cases as necessary;
• Re-test as necessary;
• Update testing documentation as necessary;
• Develop a Test Summary
• Report upon successful completion of the testing phase of the
project and securing sign-off by project manager

Highly Required/Desired Skills:
*Desired skills include experience with HP testing tools such as
Quality Center, and knowledge of key-word automation methodology.
*Analytical thinking skills Required
*Documentation skills Required
*Experience testing software applications Required 2 Years
*Experience with the software quality cycle Required 3 Years
*Able to work with people at all levels/skills to cope with all
situations Required
*Experience developing data-driven tests Required 1 Years
*Experience with HP Test Tools Desired 6 Months
*Ability to communicate clearly and effectively Required
*Experience with keyword-driven automation techniques Desired
*Experience with software change management Desired
*Experience with LoadRunner skills
