Job Title: Java Developer - Swing and EJB - MUST!
Location: New York City, NY
Duration: 4+ months
Rate: $45-55/hr on C2C
Looking for local candidates in NYC and NJ area – in person interview
2 positions
Requirements:
Candidates must possess strong communications skills and a thorough knowledge of Java development and deployment and have a background in using Java Swing and EJBs.
Candidates must have knowledge of at least Java version 1.5.
Candidates are also required to possess a working knowledge of the MS Windows Operating Systems.
Candidates must have familiarity of Updating Oracle Tables.
Pluses
Knowledge of Subversion Source Control is a plus.
Knowledge of and familiarity with Oracle's JDeveloper development tool is a plus.
Job Description:
Consultants will work with a team of developers and DBAs to help implement various changes to an existing application that uses an Oracle WebLogic application server with Enterprise Java Beans and a GUI using Java Swing.
Normal work hours will be 8:00AM – 4:30PM Monday through Friday, though occasional overtime and weekend work may be required. Working hours are flexible.
