We're looking for a Release Manager who works in a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)-driven organizational framework and provides release management expertise. This role is responsible for preparing, planning and managing all software release activities. The Release Manager will develop, refine and execute release strategies for complex software development projects and direct and monitor release planning, build, preparation and deployment activities.
Skill Set Needed:
Seven (7) or more years of demonstrated experience as a release manager
Demonstrated experience with software life cycle models (i.e. SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, Iterative)
Experience dealing with releases for geographically distributed software teams
Experience with scripting, coding and configuration
Proficient with automated build and release tools
Excellent oral and written communication skills; must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources.
