Job Description:

The PeopleSoft (PSFT) Functional Lead is responsible for successful delivery of PSFT functional process, particularly in PSFT Financials modules, including implementation, upgrade, and support of existing PSFT applications.

This role assists clients in the selection, planning, fit analysis, configuration, testing, implementation and support of PSFT solutions.

This Functional Lead will also work closely with the client in improving operational metrics, working on reviewing of PSFT bundles and maintenance packs, and assists with developing business case for PSFT projects and enhancements.

S/he will provide functional knowledge & manage client relationships within context of individual role.

Preferred candidates will have production support, upgrade experience.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in PSFT Financials and Supply Chain management (FSCM) v9.x and PeopleTools v8.5x

• 9+ years of PSFT Financials experience (proficient in two to three of the modules: General Ledger, Payables, Purchasing, Asset Management, Expenses, Project Costing and Cash Management)

• Experience gathering/analyzing specific data, writing business requirements, configuration and testing related documents.

• Ability to conduct fit gap, configuration workshops, walk-through PSFT Financials modules

• Ability to estimate work, status reports, update project plans

• Be able to communicate clearly and should be able to work both independently and with other resources.

• Ability to comfortably work in a fast paced, often ambiguous and event driven environment

• Experienced with financial service and banking industries

• General understanding of SDLC processes

• Team player

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Provide PSFT functional expertise to business users and PSFT team

• Perform production support and testing efforts for PSFT related projects to ensure solutions meet user requirements.

• Create and maintain of test scripts

• Create functional specifications and support in the development of technical specifications
