Looking for a web developer with expertise implementing/developing Tridion.  Their background can be .Net or Java, but they must have experience developing Web Content Systems using Tridion.

Web Developer 2 Positions

Location: Cedar Rapids, IA or Plano, TX

Duration: 12 Months+

Qualifications 

Under general direction, formulates and defines system scope and objectives. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents those programs. Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities. May be responsible for completion of a phase of a project. Regularly provides guidance and training to less-experienced analysts/programmers. Frequently reports to an Applications Systems Analysis & Programming Manager or Applications Development Director.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Applications, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering, or a related field
• 4 years of professional development experience using .NET or Java
• 2 - 3 years of professional experience developing applications using SDL Tridion
• Experience with SDL Tridion 2011 or higher
• Experience with Modular Templating and creating complex TBBs
• Solid UI development experience using .NET or Java technologies with WebForms, JQuery, JavaScript, CSS 3, HTML 5, XML, and MVC/DD4T
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Preferred Skills and Experience

:

• Understanding of SDLC processes
• Experience working with project teams to determine system specifications, integration points and software interfaces to meet client and project requirements 
• Financial industry experience a plus
• Experience with Site Editor / Experience Manager, Archive Manager, Audience Manager, or SmartTarget a plus
• Experience successfully delivering software systems projects
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices including coding standard, code reviews, source code management, build process, testing, and operations
