Comcast's current position [2]violates the spirit and letter of the FCC's
proposed Internet Policy principles and other regulations and statutes,
as well as Comcast's previous public statements about favoring an open
Internet. While the network neutrality debate in Washington has focused
on what actions a broadband access provider might take to filter,
prioritize or manage content requested by its subscribers, Comcast's
decision goes well beyond this. With this action, Comcast is preventing
competing content from ever being delivered to Comcast's subscribers at
all, unless Comcast's unilaterally-determined toll is paid — even though
Comcast's subscribers requested the content. With this action, Comcast
demonstrates the risk of a 'closed' Internet, where a retail broadband
Internet access provider decides whether and how their subscribers
interact with content.'"

"astrobiology finding that will impact the search for evidence of
extraterrestrial life." I've heard rumors ranging from "proof of life on
Titan" to "first contact," depending on how optimistic/crazy you are.

University of Florida student Zachary Garcia was more than a little
surprised to [0]find out he was wanted for murder after Googling his name.
It turns out the police were looking for a different man but had
mistakenly used Garcia's photo. From the article: "Investigators
originally released a driver's license photo of Zachary Garcia — spelled
with an 'A' — but it was Zachery Garcia — spelled with an 'E'— who was
charged in connection with the crime."

lawsuit from the RIAA. An appeals court overturned an earlier ruling from

$750 claiming 'innocence' was no defense, especially since copyright
notices appear on all phonorecords. She appealed to the Supreme Court,
which refused to hear her case, but Justice Alito stated, 'This provision
was adopted in 1988, well before digital music files became available on
the Internet' and further, 'I would grant review in this case because not
many cases presenting this issue are likely to reach the Courts of
Appeals.' For now, though, Harper's verdict remains in place: $750 for
each of the 37 songs at issue, or $27,750."

**Our client is currently implementing MDM and is going live with the Supplier piece today.  They will get ready

To start implementing the Items and Customer piece now.  They are basically looking for a Consultant to come in

And take a look and see if they are on the right track, make suggestions etc.  They would look for this person to supplement

With MDM/PI and MDM Implementation tools.  This person would also assist with data cleansing, data mastering and tools

Surrounding that.  This person would need to know complex models for the customer and items piece and the Portal interface

Into MDM workflows.  PI is already implemented and up and running however they are not using PI's routing so would love this

On out.
