Position Description: Experience Level: 4 yr degree plus 5-7 yrs
The Business Analyst in this role will use a formal methodology to quickly learn and synthesize complex business systems and processes into concise, readable, unambiguous, and verifiable written requirements (Use Cases, Business Process Diagrams, and Business Requirements Documents). In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to: Performing detailed analysis of existing systems and procedures Eliciting functional requirements using interviews, requirements workshops, document analysis, use cases, scenarios, and workflow analysis Drafting detailed functional requirements and related documentation using approved templates Managing business process / workflow requirements across multiple Lines of Business Developing User Interface Branding requirements Defining data requirements for new data feeds Analyzing existing data feeds to identify data redundancy
Minimum Qualifications 5 years general IT experience 5-7 years experience as a Business Analyst 3 years experience facilitating user requirements meetings 3 years experience developing Use Cases 3 years experience developing Business Process Diagrams 3 years experience utilizing a formal requirements gathering methodology 3 years experience with MS Visio Preferred Skills Ability to read SQL to analyze data extract queries Experience working in a financial services environment
