Job Classification:  Apps Systems Engineer

 

Position Description:  Experience Level: 4 year degree and 7+ years experience  

 

Developer candidate to provide application development and support, troubleshooting, and resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production application or system problems. Provide technical consultation and support in the development of java web services and system applications. Analyze business requirements, assist with and write technical design specifications. Participate in overall systems unit and integration testing; and assists with the migration of applications to production. Develops and maintains appropriate documentation. Actively participate on development projects as a strong team player to ensure deliverables are met on time and with good quality.

 

Technical Skillset: Java J2EE (MDB, JMS, EJB, JSP, Servlets) IBM MQ (API, Knowledge of Queues, Queue Managers, Messaging Models) Websphere Application Server (Knowledge of configurations, deployments, tracing, monitoring, performance analysis) JUnit IBM Rational Application Developer (RAD ) SQL (Db2, MySql) Hibe!
