REQUIREMENTS:
Project Management Data Center Storage Servers VMWare
Self motivated/Self starter
10+ years overal experience
5+ years project management experience
Advanced training in project management (PMP certification preferred)
Experience with MS Office suite MS Project
Understanding of data center operations (product operations, server, storage, network, database mgmt, system mgmt, DR/BCP best practices)
Excellent team building and leadership skills
Experience with from a PM Role:
Infrastructure type implementations Experience and examples of implementing complex multi tiered Storage, Network and server infrastructures.
Experience and examples of overall project management responsibilities. IE: scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, baselining and reporting.
Thorough understanding of various servers, Operating Systems and network hardware.
Server clustering Experience in implementing cluster type installation with overall knowledge of required hardware, software and functionality.
SAN Experience in implementing complex infrastructures with a good understanding of how SAN gets implemented.
Network Good understanding of switches, firewalls and load balancers, primarily Cisco equipment.
Virtualization Experience and examples of Virtualization using Vmware
MS Products Thorough understanding and proficient in the use of MS Project, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Excel
Global Projects Examples of complex global projects with virtual teams in matrixed environments.
Excellent People and communications skills verbal and writtern
