Need: SharePoint Developer

Rate: $50/hr.

Location: Raleigh NC.

Duration: 6+ Months.

 

We are looking for a SharePoint Developer to be an expert at Web design and SharePoint 2007 MOSS webpart development. This individual would be a leader and responsible for designing and building the Crime Control & Public Safety (CCPS) public website based on criteria developed by the internal stakeholders. This person would work closely with leadership to understand and develop requirements for the next generation CCPS websites.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:

 

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have excellent design skills.
• Experience with Agile (SCRUM) is a major plus.
• Communicate with both technical and non-technical staff to support analysis, design, testing, and troubleshooting of project issues as related to usability and design
• Experience in corporate branding, web graphics creation, web site layout, and web site design required
• Must have experience developing advanced custom SharePoint webparts
• Knowledge of .Net C# & object oriented design concepts
• Knowledge of relational database development concepts
• Understands taxonomies, navigation principles and corporate portal design best practices
• Building Public Corporate websites and collaboration solutions using MS SharePoint MOSS
• Experience with designing and deploying Public facing websites – Internet, Extranet and Intranet sites
• Proficient with CSS, HTML, Adobe Photoshop or equivalent professional graphics tool is a plus
• Experience with SharePoint 2007 content management and publishing
• Experience in SharePoint 2007(MOSS) and SharePoint designer is a major plus
• Demonstrated experience developing web sites using the latest technology, for example, Dynamic HTML and JavaScript required
• Converting existing content, sites, services into SharePoint 2007
• A college graduate possessing 1-3 years of work experience
