REQUIREMENTS:
Demonstrable skill and experience in ERWIN version 7.3 or later
Well – versed in understanding existing Logical Data Models and constructing physical data models from same (e.g. relationships, one to many, many to many, recursive, reflexive, associative, etc.)
Ability to ensure the DDL generated from ERWIN is correct for three DBMSs: DB2 V9 ZOS, Oracle 10g, SQL Server 2005
Understand and follow naming conventions as defined by IBC Data Architecture team and associated documentation
Ability to diagnose and correct discrepancies in DDL errors that were executed by the DBA's that did not correctly execute
Ability to document activities and communicate with Data Architects as to status of Physical Data Modeling activities
Ability to synchronize updates to Physical models with updates from Data Architecture Logical models
Ability to follow IBC configuration management standards (e.g. check in and check out procedures for models as defined by IBC standards)
