 JAVA CAPS INFRASTRUCTURE

Senior JavaCAPS architect. This position is primarily a JavaCAPS infrastructure expert – not a JavaCAPS application developer. This person will help meet various JavaCAPS engineering needs, including but not limited to:
• Install and configure JavaCAPS Version 5.1.3 on Solaris 10
• Execute JavaCAPS load testing and identify performance bottlenecks
• Recommend and implement JavaCAPS infrastructure and application performance tuning
• Troubleshooting complex JavaCAPS related issues
• Provide JavaCAPS infrastructure support for multiple critical, high-volume application development, testing, and go-live activities

This assignment lasts about 6 months. In addition to general JavaCAPS engineering requirements, this position requires following skills/experiences:

1. Design, installation, and configuration of JavaCAPS 5.1.3 infrastructure on Solaris 10
2. Deep experience in JavaCAPS 5.1.3 performance tuning
3. Deep experience in JavaCAPS 5.1.3 performance/load test execution, monitoring, and analysis
4. Deep experience in JavaCAPS 5.1.3 High-Availability, Code Deployment, System Monitoring, Disaster Recovery Testing
5. Deep understanding of JMS messaging (preferably with IBM MQ)
6. Monitoring of JavaCAPS (preferably using Wily IntroScope)
7. Experience designing and implementing JavaCAPS in various platforms including Solaris/Linux/AIX and virtual environment

The ideal candidate should also possess good communication and project management skills, as s/he needs to interact with development teams, project managers, and on-site JavaCAPS engineers.
