Mandatory Skills:

• ABAP & Web-Dynpro for ABAP hands-on development experience in ECC 6.0 environment.

• Ability to track performance issues in development life-cycle using SAP standard tools like Runtime Analysis, SQL Trace, etc.

• Proficient in using SAP Standard Tools like ABAP Advanced Debugger, Code Inspector, Extended Program Checks, Memory Analyzer, etc.

• Ability to provide customers with direction and strategy to resolve performance problems across SAP application areas.

• Must be capable of analyzing the workload monitoring information to be able to identify poor performing programs and transactions, adopt the root-cause analysis to derive the relevant solution for addressing the performance issues.

• Experience in researching SAP Solution Notes and working with SAP Teams to open messages and seek resolutions.

• Works with Basis & DBA teams to get table indexes correctly defined as per the requirements and if required, propose new secondary indexes to be created for addressing performance problems.

• Works independently with minimum supervision on finding resolutions during the performance tuning activities.

• Candidate must be technically sound in ABAP/WD4A, have problem solving attitude, exhibit self-learning skills, exhibit patience in working in teams, in a multi-Vendor environment.

• Candidate must have leadership skills required to provide vision and strategy for performance optimization activities including helping the customer lay down policies around this.

• Capable of working with business teams to help overlay the policies regarding performance in SAP.
