Sr. Systems Analyst

 

This position is responsible for being partners with Functional business units (BU's) and operating departments on a project basis to provide business and systems support.

 

Major Functions:

 

•         Maintain a thorough understanding of the business and technical functions of assigned systems.

•         Define, recommend and implement solutions to customer problems and requests.

•         Assume responsibility for the maintenance and enhancement of assigned systems.

•         Prepare Statement of Works and project plans.

•         Manage major projects to the project plan.

•         Functional management of staff resources.

•         Hold regular status meetings and communicate project status. 

 

Skills and Abilities:

 

•             Must have advanced knowledge and experience with SQL and PL/SQL

•             Must have advanced knowledge and experience with Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports (Version 11, 11i or R12)

•             Must have knowledge of TOAD, SQL*Loader and UNIX

•             Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

Education and Experience:

 

•             BS in Computer Science or equivalent

•             Minimum 3 years of experience with Oracle Applications 11, 11i or R12 (P/O, WIP, MRP, Standard Cost, Inventory, Engineering, BOM, PLM)
