- Good in STB software/system architecture and design

- Embedded programming & embedded systems

- Language : C Language proficiency, C++

- Operating system: Linux, OS20/21, Vxworks, Nucleus

 

 

Multimedia (esp. video & audio) encoding fundamentals (for video, both SD & HD)

Conditional Access & encryption

Linux/Unix or some other OS/RTOS internals & device drivers

Knowledge of STB hardware design

 

 

Job Title : IPTV STB Software Engineer

Exp Level: 2-8 years

Location :Hyderabad- Permanent
Positions:2

 

Note : Need experience resource worked in Media Domain with  STB,IPTV,DTV Experience Only.

 

Skills set:

 

- Hands on experience in IPTV STB domain.

- IPTV middleware development experience

- Excellent C/C++ programming skills.

- Hands on experience in HTTP/RTSP/RTMP/RTP streaming

- Good knowledge about the codecs like H.264, MPEG-2, AAC

- Good knowledge about networking protocols like TCP, UDP, IGMP PPP, SNMP, DHCP.

- Knowledge about Linux Framebuffer/GTK+/DirectFB

- Good Troubleshooting skills and attention for detail.

- Effective Communication and interpersonal skills.

- Exposure to QT-Embedded/Android

 

 

Job Title : MHP Middleware Software Engineer

Exp Level: 3-6 years

Job Description:

 

MHP (Multimedia Home Platform) is an emerging technology for digital TV system. As a key contributor to the MHP Middleware development team, you will be involved in the design, development, and maintenance of real-time MHP middleware modules for set top boxes. You will need to apply problem solving skills in technical areas and consider portability of your code across a multitude of platforms.

 

* 3-6 years of relevant engineering experience

* Strong Java programming skills

* Deep understanding of MHP Middleware Packages, HAVi, DAVIC, DSMCC

* Knowledge of JNI, JVM

* Knowledge of Linux, RTOS

* Knowledge of digital TV industry standards and concepts, especially MHP

* Developing test cases, test applications of MHP Middleware Packages

* Experience with set top box development
