Immediate need Sr. Data Analyst // Hoffman Estates, IL  // 6+ Months
 
Job Title:  Sr. Data Analyst
Location:  Hoffman Estates, IL
Duration:  6+ Months

Job Discription:
 5+ years experience in enterprise data warehouse data analysis, data modeling, architecture, and BI solutions delivery
Advanced database and SQL skills:  design/coding, ETL , testing methodologies and techniques in a large scale environment
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, problem solving and

analytic skills
Translating business and technical requirements into a solid technical design and solution to include architecture diagrams and design documents Data architecture, development, updates to data models, including physical and logical to meet new and changing business requirements
Erwin, ETL, PL/SQL, SQL experience
MS Excel experience
Minimum Education:  Bachelors Degree

Desired, but not required Skills/ Experience: 
Teradata or large scale Relational Database experience preferred

Daily Responsibilities:
 Responsible for ad-hoc report creation and review with stakeholders
Capturing and maintaining metadata and data-linage for data warehouse and reporting components
Researching data integrity and quality issues while creating metrics to track data quality and providing recommendations for resolving issues
Data architecture, prototype development, updates to data models, including physical and logical to meet new and changing business requirements
Creation of quality metrics at the source and integration levels, used to monitor data
attributes associated with the SHC CDW, 3rd party supplied data, and SYWR member data.
Profiling data attributes to determine fill rates and variables associated with specific attributes.
Automation of data quality reporting and data operation environment maintenance
Providing regular status on progress of assigned initiatives.
