Job Description:                              

 

The candidate must have netFORUM experience. The candidate will write SQL Scripts on a daily basis, install IIS Servers,  support Ad-Hoc principles and code reviews. This position requires minimal application development, more emphasis will be placed on support of existing vendor code. The netFORUM application is a C# application, however.

Responsibilities:

•            

o             Support the in-house netForum Association Software / Application

§             Support existing Project hardware & software infrastructure.

§             Provide Operational Support as needed.

§             Maintain and enhance existing functionality according to provided requirements.

§             Provide technical test support as needed.

o             Support other related applications on an as-needed basis.

o             Create, technical & other documentation according to Project requirements & standards.

o             Troubleshoot ad-hoc business & technical issues & advise on solution options.

•             Must have's:

o             Working knowledge of the netForum application, data model and took kit

o             Good working knowledge of SDLC & IT best-practices (both Software implementation and IT Process).

o             Committed to producing quality solutions.

o             Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

o             Development experience with a focus on Windows / IIS / .NET & Web Development.

o             Good understanding of databases – schema design, SQL, transactions (with focus on SQL Server).

o             Results-oriented team-player capable of working well in an existing team.

•             Nice to have's

o             Some basic understanding of Java technology.
