MUST HAVE E-Commerce Experience

 

Requirements:
Self-motivated, self starter who is comfortable in a fast paced working environment.
Keeps up-to-date with new tools and technologies that help to develop better software faster.
Excellent Core Java Language Skills (5+ years real world work experience)
Excellent understanding of Hibernate and Spring
Understanding of web application concepts and technologies (HTML, CSS2, Servlets/JSPs)
Firm understanding of OO design patterns
Ability to work closely with BAs and implementation staff to understand requirements and deliver software that meets customer needs

 

Highly preferred skills:
Prefers to work with Agile Software methodology
Experienced with unit test tools: JUnit, TestNG, Mokito, or JMock.
Experience with Google Web Toolkit (GWT)
Past exposure to eCommerce related technologies (Credit Card Processing, SSL, Shipping, Customer Support concerns, etc.)
Past experience developing client or consumer-facing web applications or software
Understanding of AJAX concepts or libraries (Prototype, jQuery, etc.)
A keen eye for usability and design in customer facing software
Previous involvement in Agile
Additional Job Info:
Familiarity with the following tools or technologies:
SQL / TSQL (SQL Server 2000 or 2005), Eclipse, Maven / Hudson / Nexus, Message Oriented Integration / JMS (ActiveMQ) / ESBs (ServiceMix or MULE).
