Position           :      Linux Engineer

Location          :      Goodyear, AZ (suburb of Phoenix)

Duration         :     2+ months contract

 

Must-haves 
Must have TS/SCI Clearance (Top Secret can work too)
5+ years of experience with RHEL (RedHat Enterprise Linux) engineering/administration/maintenance (includes implementation from released rchitecture, configuration and deployment) 
5+ years of experience performing enterprise implementations 
2+ years of experience with VMware (total system architecture, design and maintenance) 
Must have worked in a enterprise level data center (80+ servers)

 

Plusses 
Must have 1-2 of the following 4 plusses: 
SAN Administration & Maintenance (design and implementation) 
HPC (High Performance Computing) knowledge 
HSS (High Speed Storage) knowledge 
Networking knowledge (NIS, DNS, TCP/IP, ect..)

 

Role:
The client is recapping their legacy system of a physical host to virtualize the entire system through the design and implementation of new technologies including RedHat and VMware. This will be both hardware and software architecture, design and implementations of the systems.
